Nominators noted her significant impact upon students and alumni. Campoy, who will retire this year, said, “I’m deeply grateful to HMC for the opportunity to be part of this community over the years. It’s been a pleasure working alongside such dedicated coworkers, inspiring students and a supportive community.” Here’s more about Campoy.

How did you come to work at HMC?

I worked at Scripps College for seven years, and when Sodexo-my employer at the time-transferred me, I began working at HMC. I’ve worked at HMC for 32 years.

What are some of your most memorable HMC events and why?

One of the highlights for me is during Alumni Weekend events, when former students stop by to say hi. It’s always great to catch up and see where life has taken them.

What was your reaction to learning that you would be named an Honorary Alum?

Surprise!

What are some things you plan to do during retirement?

I plan to sleep longer hours, enjoy spending time with my grandkids and spend more time in my garden.
