Staff Profile: Shannon Braun

Office of Career Services Director Shannon Braun has been at Harvey Mudd for about seven months. Her work on campus includes helping HMC students and alumni through the various stages of career development, starting with exploration and inquiry. OCS provides tools, workshops and connections to support the process of evaluating and securing opportunities in line with Mudders’ career aspirations. Here’s a little more about Shannon:

What HMC events have made you feel connected to other HMC colleagues?

I like Coffee with the Cabinet because it draws faculty and staff from various departments together with no agenda outside of good conversation. The treats are always yummy, too!

What is your favorite hobby, activity or creative outlet?

I enjoy the outdoors and often spend time hiking in the foothills surrounding Claremont.

What’s your favorite food/dish in the Hoch-Shanahan Dining Hall?

The dessert section is my favorite, and I usually add soft serve right on top of the sweet treat I pick for the day.

What is the last concert you attended?

Depeche Mode.
