Winter Break Closure

The Office of Admission will close for winter break at 5 p.m. (PST) on Friday, Dec. 20. We will open at 8 a.m. (PST) on Monday, January 6.

  • While our office is closed, emails sent to admission@hmc.edu will be checked regularly throughout the break. Please be patient as you may not receive an immediate response. However, we will be sure to respond to any questions in plenty of time for you to complete your application or respond to your ED offer of admission.
  • During our winter break we will not be able to respond to our phone messages. Please email admission@hmc.edu with any questions not answered below.
  • Any supporting material from your school and/or your recommenders may arrive a couple of weeks after our deadline and will still receive full consideration. The only part of your application that must be received by 11:59 p.m. in your local time zone on January 5 is your Common Application.  Please do not panic or contact your school or recommenders if their submissions have not yet been received. They have plenty of time to submit their recommendations and your transcript(s). They deserve a break too!
