We are excited to host Harvey Mudd College’s eighth annual Women’s Inclusion in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (WISTEM) program! WISTEM is intended for students who are current high school juniors (or equivalent), U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and committed to the inclusion of women in STEM. 

You should apply if you…

  1. Feel intimidated by the college search process. WISTEM will equip you with the resources you’ll need throughout your college search process and guide you through the start of your search.
  2. Don’t know where to start with your college essays. WISTEM will help you brainstorm essay topics, provide feedback, and offer resources to help you develop your college essays.
  3. Have questions about financial aid. WISTEM will​​​​​​give you an overview of federal and institutional financial aid and answer your questions about the process.
  4. Want to visit sunny California for FREE. WISTEM includes an all-expenses paid weekend program on Harvey Mudd College’s campus.
  5. Want ​​​​​​to build STEM community. WISTEM will connect you with a cohort of like-minded students who are interested in strengthening their understanding of the experiences of women in STEM, with a particular focus on the experiences of women of color.
