Did you know we have an active LinkedIn Group for the Harvey Mudd College Alumni Association? If you haven’t joined, you’re missing a great opportunity to expand your professional and personal network, hear about opportunities in your alumni community and join in the conversations currently taking place. Just navigate to the group and click “Join” to get involved:

Are you already a member and not seeing any activity? Or possibly seeing too much? To check your settings, go to the Harvey Mudd College Alumni Association Group page and click the three dots (…), which should give you a popup menu similar to this:

Click the gear icon to update your group settings, as in the example shown (note that these are screenshots from personal computer; your settings may look somewhat different depending on the device you’re using):

Make sure Messaging shows “Yes” and green to allow other alumni to message you.

To fine tune your notification settings, you can visit LinkedIn preferences to control what notifications are sent to you from your Groups:
