Financial Aid Package
Your financial aid package is reflected on billing statements and result in a reduction in the amount you owe. Financial aid credits reflected on the bill are those that have been awarded up to the time the billing statement was generated. Subsequent adjustments to aid will appear on the next billing statement.
“Expected” credits are financial aid funds, such as outside scholarships or student and parent loan funds, which are expected, but not yet received. “Expected” credits only appear on your statement if they are listed on your Financial Aid Award Letter. These types of credits are indicated on statements in a box entitled “Expected Financial Assistance,” located at the bottom left-hand side of the billing statement.
“Expected” financial aid not received by October 15 for the fall semester, or March 15 for the spring semester, will be reversed from your student account. As a result of the reversal, the balance due will increase on your November and April statements respectively.
It is the responsibility of each student to check the status of any financial aid. If delays in crediting financial aid are due to incomplete information or paperwork, it is the responsibility of the student to pay the amount due until information has been completed and the loan(s) and/or scholarship(s) have been received by the Office of Student Accounts. (Please do not send scholarship check(s) with your tuition payment.)
