An original musical by Devon Tao '25, the play Reason to Be is inspired by A Christmas Carol and is about a pianist named Val who journeys through their past, present and future to discover the meaning of hope in times of crisis. It's a musical about resilience, hope, connection and the power of music.

Performances are open to the public and will be at the Seaver Large Studio at Pomona College, 300 E Bonita Ave, Claremont.

March 27, 7:30–9:30 p.m.

March 28 & 29, 7:30–9:30 p.m.

March 29 & 30, 2–4 p.m.
