1. R. Michael Shanahan Center for Teaching and Learning
Begin your tour at the structure that houses most of the College’s non-laboratory-based learning spaces.
Students enjoy flexible-use and technologically advanced classrooms that support a range of pedagogies and learning styles. On the first floor, in addition to the Office of Admission and Financial Aid, you’ll find student-staffed learning resources (Writing Center and Academic Excellence tutoring) and The Café (Starbucks coffee, snacks and Harvey Mudd apparel).
On the basement level are Sprague Art Gallery and Drinkward Recital Hall (entrance in the gallery), a 100-seat, state-of-the-art performance space. Upstairs is the President’s Office (second floor), the Department of Mathematics (second and third floor), SkyCube classroom and Outdoor Classroom (third floor).
