11. Joseph B. Platt Campus Center

This building was named for HMC’s founding president and houses many essential student resources, including the Division of Student Affairs (offices of campus life, residential life, institutional diversity, health and wellness, career services, and community engagement); Office of the Registrar; Office of Study Abroad; Platt Living Room, filled with sofas and whiteboards where students do homework and projects—and enjoy fun events like Wednesday Nighters (doughnuts and entertainment); student mailroom; music practice rooms; Office of Facilities and Maintenance (basement level); and Jay’s Place (basement level), one of the most popular late-night hangouts for 5C students.
