New CIS Director

Just before the winter break, we completed an extensive search for a Director, Infrastructure and Systems.  I am delighted to let you know that our own Robert Kingston was selected as the top candidate and I am delighted to report that he accepted our offer.

Robert has been with CIS since 2013, when he started as a technical analyst in User Support.  In 2017, he moved into our systems and network group as a cloud computing specialist.   And on January 1st, having demonstrated his talent and high level of readiness in an interim role, he became Director of the group.

We have also renamed the group, to reflect the fact that we no longer have primary responsibility for operating networking services, which is now done by TCCS.  The group is now Infrastructure and Systems (IaS).
