HMC Resources for Teaching and Working Remotely
March 20, 2020ARCS has been busy testing and documenting tools and processes for helping you get your courses online as quickly as possible. We’ve already made quite a few additions to the HMC Resources for Teaching and Working Online Google Doc so be sure to check back there for more information on Google Meet Live Streaming, auto-captioning options, lecture recording options, and virtual whiteboards.
We’ve also created an open Sakai site, based on a site developed by our colleagues at Pomona College, that has more detailed information on:
- Designing an online course in a hurry
- Building and delivering your course online
- Assessment options
- Accessibility and copyright information
- Info. for working from home
In addition, we will be offering a series of online demos next week that you can drop into in our Google Meet. We’ll start with a 10-15 minute demo on a specific topic and then leave the mic open for your questions on any topic. No need to sign up, just click the link for our Google Meet to join at the appropriate time. Here’s the schedule:
