Research Computing Workshops
Academic and Research Computing Services (ARCS) offers a series of workshops for students, faculty, and staff at Harvey Mudd College. Most of the workshops are open to The Claremont Colleges. These workshops introduce the basics of research computing and machine learning.
A Hands-on Workshop series in Machine Learning
The Machine Learning workshop series consisting of 7 to 8 two-hour sessions is taught by Aashita Kesarwani every semester. The topics include data cleaning using pandas and regular expressions, neural networks architectures including multi-layer perceptron, recurrent neural networks, convolutional neural network, and transformer models along with their application to real-world datasets.
