The goal of the Texas Instruments (TI) Clinic project was to design an open-source game development kit (GDK) comprised of the hardware platform and software framework required to create a portable immersive gaming experience. The system uses TI hardware and 3D audio algorithms to enable development of novel gameplay on a mobile platform. To showcase the capabilities of the GDK, the team developed an immersive Android demonstration.
