Arconic’s Rancho Cucamonga facility produces aerospace parts in (Nickel, Titanium, Aluminum) and makes monthly shipments to companies across the globe. Arconic Rancho’s revenue growth is being constrained by forge capacity, which prompted Rancho to engage the Harvey Mudd clinic team to develop a production scheduling system that will assist the scheduler to optimize the forge units to increase efficiency and through-put, enabling future revenue growth.
