The Project PACER Clinic team designed and built a wideband beam steering device. This device converts a single RF signal into many outputs, whose gains and relative delays are finely programmable. Its high modularity and scalability applies to a broad range of applications. This makes it instrumental in the creation and testing of electronic beam steering systems, which are becoming common in modern communication systems for their ability to increase data rates and boost network capacity.
