American Express is a financial services corporation that is best known for its credit card, charge card, and traveler’s cheque businesses. As small business owners often do not identify themselves differently from other customers, their needs are invisible to American Express. The project’s goal is to assess customers’ purpose of spend and identify customers that use consumer cards for small business purposes.
