The Amazon Lab126 team has developed a karaoke application for the Android operating system. The application allows the user to record, playback and save their recording. The team implemented signal processing algorithms, including echo cancellation, double-talk detection and mixing to produce a clean and balanced mix of the user’s vocals and the original backing track. This application was designed as a prototype that may be integrated with Echo Show devices.
