The Sandia National Laboratories Clinic team is researching barium titanate, which is widely used in electronics for its ferroelectric properties. The team has created nanocomposites of barium titanate and silicone to measure how these properties change with particle size. In addition, the team has performed density functional theory simulations to understand how molecules bind to the surface of a barium titanate particle.
