Trilobio is a startup company working to revolutionize synthetic biology by designing affordable, automated, modular robots that improve reproducibility and remove human error from various biological experiments. The Trilobio Clinic team is designing and fabricating a novel multi-channel pipette attachment that requires minimal force to achieve airtight seals across all pipette tips. The design utilizes inflatable pipette barrels and hydraulics to facilitate low-force airtight seals. The team is also designing custom pipette tips to improve the quality and consistency of seals.
