WordPress: Phone and Fax Numbers

Telephone numbers are formatted thus: 909.621.8011.

Write extensions as extension 234 or ext. 234 not x234.

Configuring Phone Numbers as Links

When configured correctly, clicking a phone number link will trigger the call functionality of the device being used to view the page.

1. In the content editor, write out the phone or fax number.

2. Select phone number.

3. Click the phone icon.

4. Phone number will be correctly configured as clickable link that trigger phone functionality of device.
