What is Pi Day of Giving?

Pi Day of Giving is an annual fundraising event at Harvey Mudd, from early March through Pi Day on March 14, that rallies around our students. During March 2025, the event will focus on growth—cultivating minds and transforming lives. Your Pi Day gift will foster an environment where students thrive, providing critical financial support to meet the College’s most essential needs.

When is Pi Day of Giving?

Held early March through Pi Day on March 14, the 2025 campaign, “Cultivating Minds & Fueling Growth,” celebrates the growth and potential of the Harvey Mudd community. Join us to support this transformative experience for students.

How can I participate in Pi Day of Giving?

There are many ways to get involved! Become an advocate by inspiring others in the Mudd community to join Pi Day of Giving. Spread the word through social media, and connect with HMC friends and family via phone, email, text and social platforms. Make a gift of any amount and encourage others to join the cause. You can even start a giving challenge or match to amplify your impact.

How are donations used?

Gifts designated to the annual fund support financial aid, scholarships, transformational educational experiences in the classroom, community engagement opportunities, spiritual life, student health and wellness initiatives, and more.

While financial support is crucial and the primary focus of Pi Day of Giving, we know that generosity comes in many forms. If a financial donation isn’t an option for you, there are other meaningful ways to support Harvey Mudd College.

● Advocate. Help raise awareness about Harvey Mudd by sharing news of the College’s events, initiatives and fundraising efforts with your network.
● Participate. Stay engaged with the Mudd community by attending events that foster connections and support initiatives that are making an impact.
● Contribute your time. Volunteering your time and skills is a rewarding way to remain connected with fellow alumni and the campus community.
