What is Pi Day of Giving?

Pi Day of Giving is an annual fundraising event at Harvey Mudd, from early March through Pi Day on March 14, that rallies around our students.

When is Pi Day of Giving?

Pi Days of Giving 2025 kicks off on March 3 at 3:14 PM and culminates in a celebration of generosity on Pi Day, March 14. Join us in supporting this year’s campaign, “Inspire. Enrich. Give,” and help create a transformative experience for Harvey Mudd students.

How can I participate in Pi Day of Giving?

There are many ways to get involved! Become an advocate by inspiring others in the Mudd community to join Pi Day of Giving. Spread the word through social media, and connect with HMC friends and family via phone, email, text and social platforms. Make a gift of any amount and encourage others to join the cause. You can even start a giving challenge or match to amplify your impact.

How are donations used?

Gifts designated to the annual fund support financial aid, scholarships, transformational educational experiences in the classroom, community engagement opportunities, spiritual life, student health and wellness initiatives, and more.

There is strength in numbers. Harvey Mudd’s annual fund is a vital resource that enables the College to thrive and supports the growth of its students. Gifts to the fund allow the College to address its most pressing needs, provide exceptional academic experiences and support student scholarships.

More Ways to Get Involved

While financial support is crucial and the primary focus of Pi Day of Giving, we know that generosity comes in many forms. If a financial donation isn’t an option for you, there are other meaningful ways to support Harvey Mudd College.

● Advocate. Help raise awareness about Harvey Mudd by sharing news of the College’s events, initiatives and fundraising efforts with your network.
● Participate. Stay engaged with the Mudd community by attending events that foster connections and support initiatives that are making an impact.
● Contribute your time. Volunteering your time and skills is a rewarding way to remain connected with fellow alumni and the campus community.
