Due to the ongoing wildfire events in and around the greater Los Angeles area, the following medical resources are available to our community members.
Each of our benefit providers have separate resources available to enrolled members. Below is a summary of both Blue Shield and Kaiser, depending upon your enrollment.
Blue Shield Medical Care Solutions will proactively reach out to members enrolled in care and disease management programs in mandatory evacuation zones to ensure they continue receiving the care they need. Members can access various telehealth services, including Teladoc and NurseHelp 24/7℠. Visit blueshieldca.com to review the specific virtual care options available under your plan. Please visit Blue Shield of California Wildfire Assistance for the latest information and additional resources.
Kaiser Facility impacts are subject to change during this developing situation. Kaiser will contact you if your appointment is affected by these closures. Additionally, video visits and telephone appointments are available for primary care needs. If you have questions about scheduled appointments, you can contact our Appointment and Advice Call Center at 1-833-574-2273. Click here for details on how Kaiser is monitoring the situation.
An additional resource guide is available at the TCCS Benefits Administration website here.
