Senior physics major Andrew Higginbotham has won a prestigious Winston Churchill Foundation Scholarship to study next year at Churchill College, the University of Cambridge. Andrew is the third HMC physics major to earn this exceptional distinction, and one of two HMC seniors to win Churchill Scholarships this year, which is a record for the College. According to Peter C. Patrikis, Executive Director of the Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States, only fourteen scholarships were awarded this year throughout the United States.
