HMC Physics Students, Alumni Win Prestigious Graduate Fellowships

Several students and alumni of the Harvey Mudd physics program have won national fellowships for graduate study this year. Jonas Kaufman ’17 and Helen Fitzmaurice ’10 have been offered National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships. Honorable Mention for the NSF Fellowship was awarded to both Calvin Leung ’17 and Nathaniel Leslie ’17. Jonas Kaufman has also been offered, and will accept, a Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship. And Calvin Leung has been awarded an National Defense Science and Engineering graduate fellowship. Congratulations to all these seniors and alumni!
