e11 - Autonomous Vehicles
Labs & Problem Sets
Labs will be done by students each week before the Fall Break. Students are to complete labs individually, but are welcome to consult classmates and the instructor. Students will need to purchase a lab kit before your lab on the week of September 10. The kit contains components for the Mudduino embedded processor board and for the autonomous vehicle. The cost $170. To purchase a kit, students should bring an ID card with Claremont Cash to Sydney Torrey in the Engineering Department Office (Parsons 2373) and get a receipt. Students can add Claremont Cash to your card online or at Honnold Library. Receipts should be taken down to the stockroom (Parsons B714) to pick up the kit.
Problem sets may be done individually or with a partner. Both students should be involved in and understand all aspects of the work; it misses the point to simply split the assignment and do two halves independently. Students are welcome to discuss the assignments with other students or with the instructor or lab assistants after having made an effort by her/himself. Credit should be mentioned at the top of assignments for any classmates with whom discussed ideas were discussed. It is an honor code violation to simply copy someone else' s work.
Problem sets will be submitted by logging into Sakai, and uploading the solution to your dropbox folder (Dropbox tab on the E11 page).
